IEEE and Technology and Science Initiative

Electrical Engineering students have the
opportunity to participate in the Suffolk chapter of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). There is a yearly, regional MicroMouse (robotic) competition where students showcase their hard work in which Suffolk excels.

The Technology and Science Initiative gives students the opportunity to work closely with both professors and industrial professionals on cutting-edge research projects.

After Graduation

Graduates of Suffolk's Electrical Engineering program will have acquired a large number of transferable skills which will prepare them for graduate studies or to go in to industrial career paths, such as with major industrial corporations, start-up groups, or consulting positions.
